On the occasion of the relaunch of the former Lear plant in Grugliasco, Stefano Fulchir, Chief Executive Officer of Zetronic Group, presented the industrial project that will support the restart of the production site.
The plant, now transferred to Mechatronix, a company 55% controlled by Zetronic, represents a highly significant initiative for the Piedmont region. The operation includes an investment plan of approximately €20 million and the involvement of 365 workers, with the aim of progressively reactivating production after more than four years of shutdown and trade union disputes.
The project aims to enhance the skills already present at the plant and to build a production model based on diversification. Automotive, electronics, assembly, aerospace and energy will be among the areas involved in this new industrial path.
The initiative also strengthens the connection between Veneto and Piedmont, creating an industrial axis capable of integrating expertise, supply chains and manufacturing capabilities.
For Zetronic Group, the relaunch of the former Lear plant is not only a new production challenge, but also a concrete commitment to people, the local area and industrial continuity.
