The Padua-based company Zetronic<\/strong>, specializing in mechatronics and industrial supplies for the automotive sector, has signed an agreement to subscribe to a \u20ac3 million capital increase<\/strong> in Estrima<\/em>, the manufacturer of Bir\u00f2 <\/em>electric minicars, which is currently facing financial difficulties.<\/p>\n

The transaction, set to be finalized by March 31, 2025<\/strong>, is subject to ongoing due diligence<\/strong> and will result in the Fulchir family holding between 52% and 58% of Estrima<\/strong>, depending on the outcome of the financial analysis. The goal is the financial and industrial recovery<\/strong> of the company, preventing liquidation and creating synergies between the two production entities<\/strong> in Veneto and Friuli.<\/p>\n

Estrima, listed on Euronext Growth Milan<\/em> since 2021, recorded an 18.6% decline in production value<\/strong> in the first half of 2024 and a net loss of 959,000 euros<\/strong>. After launching a search for new investors in December, Zetronic’s offer represents a decisive step for the company’s future<\/strong>, as stated by Estrima’s president, Matteo Maestri<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Zetronic\u2019s CEO, Carlo Fulchir<\/em>, emphasized how the agreement will promote integration among the group\u2019s companies, particularly in the electronics sector, through DEC Elettronica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The news had a positive impact on the stock market: the announcement of the operation led to a 35% increase in Estrima\u2019s shares<\/strong>, raising their value to \u20ac0.54.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
