The definitive sale of the Molex Zetronic plant in Padua to the Innovatek-iVision Tech group has been officially completed. The acquisition includes 100% of the capital and has been welcomed as positive news for the 120 workers involved and for the local area. The company will continue to operate in the electronic components sector for automotive, traditional, and electric industries, enhancing its strategic importance. The President of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia, emphasized the key role of collaboration between the parties involved: Molex’s social responsibility, Innovatek-iVision Tech’s enterprise, and the contribution of trade unions and consultants. Zaia also highlighted the work of the Veneto Region, which organized institutional meetings and mediation efforts to find a shared solution. An additional statement was made by counselor Elena Ostanel, who expressed solidarity with workers from other local corporate crises and called for greater commitment from the Region for unresolved situations, such as that of Lgt.
