Molex Zetronic plant – President Zaia: “Official transfer to industrial takeover confirmed.”

On December 27, 2024, the definitive takeover contract was finalized for the acquisition of 100% of Molex Zetronic’s shares in Padua by the Innovatek-iVision Tech group, which had previously been owned by the American multinational Molex. The operation involves 120 workers and aims to enhance the company, specialized in the production of electronic components for the automotive, traditional, and electrical sectors. Luca Zaia, President of the Veneto Region, highlighted how the initial announcement of the plant’s sale had generated significant concern. However, through the collaborative efforts of the Region, the Labor Department, and the Business Crisis Unit, institutional meetings were coordinated, leading to a positive solution. Zaia emphasized the key contributions of the involved parties: Molex’s social responsibility, Innovatek-iVision Tech’s vision and entrepreneurship, and the collaboration of trade unions, Confindustria Veneto Est, and consultants. The acquisition represents a great team achievement and an important opportunity for the region. The Veneto Region will continue to monitor the industrial relaunch process and wishes the best to the new “Zetronic” and its workers.
