The Fulchir family, through iVision Tech and Innovatek, has acquired Molex Zetronic in Padua. The agreement stipulates that 45% of the shares will go to iVision Tech and 55% to Innovatek. The company, specialized in the production of electronic components, reported a turnover of 29.3 million euros in 2023, with an EBITDA of 1.2 million and net assets of 4.9 million, but a negative result of 0.2 million. The acquisition aims to strengthen innovation and the production of advanced technological solutions, with a focus on high-precision optics for mobility, autonomous driving, and lighting technologies. The goal is to consolidate the current market presence and address new challenges related to efficiency and safety while maintaining employment without restructuring. Molex Zetronic will continue to operate as a supplier for major Tier 1 automotive sector companies, with a three-year industrial plan focused on growth and technological development. The next step will be the actual handover by October 29, 2024, supported by an operation presented to the Veneto Region and positively received by the social partners.
